Nord Stream AG took part in the Leading Trade Fair for Pipeline Technologies and Systems as part of Hannover Messe from 16-20 April 2007. Among the visitors was a delegation of government officials from various African states, who were interested in general information about this important European infrastructure project. Additionally, the International Pipeline Technology Conference at the fairgrounds was opened with a special session about Nord Stream on 16 April 2007. Gerhard Schröder, Chairman of the Shareholders Committee, Matthias Warnig, Managing Director, and Dr. Werner Rott, Deputy Technical Director, addressed political and ecological, as well as economical and technical, issues of the project.
