Logistics

A customised logistics infrastructure in the Baltic Sea region – comprising weight-coating plants, interim stock yards and transshipment facilities – is required to ensure that the Nord Stream pipeline is laid with maximum efficiency and in compliance with all safety regulations. While several other Baltic Sea pipeline projects are planned, Nord Stream is the first offshore gas pipeline to be constructed in the region, so logistics infrastructure still needs to be built. Pipe-Laying
