Seminar on Europe’s Energy Security co-hosted by the Danish Energy Industry Federation and Nord Stream, Copenhagen, 19 March 2009

Roundtable "Nord Stream: Project status, challenges and the Espoo procedure", St. Petersburg, 18 March 2009

Nord Stream’s roundtable was held in the framework of the X International Environmental “Baltic Sea Day” Forum in St. Petersburg on 18 March. The event was focused on such topics as the project’s current status and the latest milestones, the challenges and the Espoo procedure, particularly the results achieved during preparation of the Espoo report, legal aspects of the application of the Espoo Convention in Russia, munitions handling as well as an overview of existing and planned gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea. Pipeline Information Tour planned to Baltic Sea Countries

Nord Stream has developed a mobile exhibition devoted to its project. The “Pipeline Information Tour”, designed to provide the general public with information on all aspects of the pipeline. Exhibition opening in County Museum of Gotland, Visby, 15 December 2007

On 15 December 2007, the County Museum of Gotland opened an exhibition about the terrible night from 28-29 July 1566, when more than 5,000 people died in a storm just outside Visby harbour. Exploring Nord Stream’s munitions survey – Press trip to Helsinki, 5 December 2007
