HELCOM, Baltic Sea Action Plan

The BSAP constitutes an ambitious programme to restore the good ecological status of the Baltic marine environment by 2021. The action plan was agreed upon by all countries of the Helsinki Commission in November 2007. The Baltic Sea Action Plan addresses all the major environmental problems affecting the Baltic marine environment.

Greenpeace, Energy [R]evolution

In this study, Greenpeace presents an energy scenario meeting CO2 reduction targets, using existing technology and still providing affordable energy and economic growth. It shows the importance of energy efficiency and role of natural gas as a bridging technology towards renewable energy sources.
