Solitaire Lowering the Last Pipe
The last pipe of Line 2 laid by Allsea's Solitaire is lowered onto the seabed with the PIG launcher attached to the pipe. The vessel laid 342.5 kilometres of each of the two lines of the Nord Stream Pipeline. Nord Stream will start transporting natural gas from Russia to the European Union in the last quarter of 2011.
