Gazprom Compressor Station Portovaya
The powerful Compressor Station Portovaya pressurizes the natural gas to the required level for transport through Nord Stream. The state-of-the-art compressor station is managed and operated by Gazprom, it enables the secure transmission of gas via the Nord Stream Pipelines all the way to Germany without interim compression. The compressor station is located approximately 1.5 kilometres away from the Nord Stream landfall facility and is connected to the facilities by underground pipelines.
