Last Pipe of Line 1 with Attached PIG Launcher Lowered into Water
The PIG (Pipeline Inspection Gauge) launchers are specialised heads attached to the start of the three sections of the pipelines. They house the PIGs that will clean, gauge the sections prior to pres-sure testing.
