Last Pipes for Concrete Weight Coating in Kotka
At the end of April 2011, the last steel pipes for concrete weight coating in Finland arrived at the site of the project's logistics partner EUPEC in Kotka, Finland. The pipes were manufactured by OMK in Vyksa, Russia, and delivered by train to Kotka. Altogether, about 76,000 steel pipes were shipped to Kotka for concrete weight coating for Nord Stream's twin pipelines between June 2008 and April 2011.
