Nord Stream Has Completed the “Golden Weld” at the Russian Landfall
The “Golden Weld” – the final weld connecting the offshore and onshore parts of Nord Stream – was completed on Line 1 on 19 August 2011. It links the Russian landfall in Portovaya Bay with the pipeline across the Baltic Sea.
