Seabed Sediment Sample
Seabed sediments are taken with a haps core sampler. Settled sediments and adsorbed contaminants may be subject to re-suspension caused by natural processes such as currents or by human activities such as trawling. To monitor impact on seabed sediments from construction works, samples are taken and analyzed for chemical warfare agents (CWA) and other chemical/physical parameters.
