Environmental Studies off the Danish Coast – Part 2
Scientists investigate the Baltic seabed and the aquatic life off the Danish coast. Samples of the sediment are collected in order to ensure that the habitat has not been disrupted by the laying and operation of the pipeline. Any changes to the seabed are monitored by conducting surveys before, during, and after laying of the pipeline. A scientist on board explains the procedure and the results of the studies.
