Pipelay Vessel Solitaire: Retrofitting in Rotterdam Harbour – Part 2
The Solitaire is the largest pipeline pipelay vessel in the world, and one of three pipelay vessels involved in the construction of the Nord Stream Pipeline. For this particular job, the vessel was retrofitted in Rotterdam harbour and specially prepared for laying the Nord Stream Pipeline. The video shows the pipelay vessel’s central assembly line.
