Gas production at the Yuzhno-Russkoye gas field
Discovered in 1969, the Yuzhno-Russkoye gas field near Novy Urengoy covers 1,100 square kilometres of gas productive area and over 140 production wells produce 25 bcm of gas per year. Gas, gas condensate, and oil are found in the field, at depths from 760 to 3,300 metres.
