Line 2 Lowered onto the Seabed
April 18, 2012: A camera monitors the last section of Line 2 as it leaves the Castoro Sei. A PIG launcher is attached to the pipeline.
PIG (Pipeline Inspection Gauge) launchers are specialised heads attached to the start of the three sections of the pipelines. They house the PIGs that will clean and gauge the sections prior to pressure testing.
