Nord Stream Consortium Celebrates Start of Line 2
On October 8, 2012, gas began to flow through Line 2 of Nord Stream’s twin pipeline system. Together the two pipelines are now capable of delivering 55 billion cubic metres of gas a year to the European gas grid. Nord Stream consortium heads were at the event to celebrate gas flowing through the twin pipeline system.
