PIG launcher at Landfall Germany

In the first half of May 2011, flooding of section three of Line 1 was completed. Once the section had been filled with water, pressure testing started. The PIGs (pipeline inspection gauges) in the train ensured that the whole section was filled with water. Here, the first PIG of the of the PIG train is removed from the PIG launcher, which was temporarily installed at the site of the German landfall in Lubmin.
