Seabed Sample Taken in Danish Waters
Sediment samples for chemical analysis are collected along the route of the pipeline and analysed for contaminants. Researchers document any changes in the level of chemical warfare agents in the sediment due to project activities resulting in the disturbance of contaminated sediments originating from dumped chemical munitions.
