Storage of pipe joints at Mukran, Germany
Pipe joints for the construction of the Nord Stream Pipeline are stored at Mukran on the German Island of R端gen. Once coated, the pipe joints are transported either directly to the pipelay barge at sea or to interim stock yards which will supply the pipelay vessel via supply barges.
