The Far Samson

The Far Samson is used for concrete mattress installation, ploughing and pre-commissioning operations. The vessel was declared Norway's "Ship of the year 2009" and set a world record when it achieved a continuous bollard pull of 423 metric tonnes. The Far Samson has a hybrid propulsion system and is extremely fuel efficient; its generator engines are equipped with catalytic converters which result in 95 percent NOx reduction.
