The Pipelay Vessel Castoro Sei
Nord Stream contracted the Italian company Saipem S.p.A. to lay the natural gas pipeline across the Baltic Sea. Two pipelay vessels will start laying operations in early 2010. Depending on weather conditions, the pipelay vessels can lay up to three kilometres of pipeline per day.
