Top entry ball valves in transport
Nord Stream ordered a total of 10 specially designed valves for the pipeline project. The valves were engineered and manufactured by Italy’s Petrolvalves Srl, a leading supplier of industrial valves for the petroleum and petrochemical sectors.
The valves were all transported from Italy where they were manufactured to Lubmin, Germany. Four valves will be installed in Lubmin, and six were transported by vessel to Vyborg, Russia for the pipeline.
