Annual Maintenance Works of Nord Stream Pipeline will be carried out in July 2021

  • Routine maintenance works are planned for 10-day period as part of the pipeline integrity management
  • Maintenance schedule closely coordinated and agreed with upstream and downstream partners

July 12, 2021 | Zug, Switzerland | From 13 to 23 July 2021, Nord Stream AG will temporarily shut down both lines of its gas pipeline system for routine maintenance works inclusive testing of mechanical elements and automation systems for ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient pipeline operations.

The schedule for the maintenance activities has been closely coordinated with Nord Stream’s upstream and downstream partners and appropriately disclosed in compliance with Regulation (EU) Nr.1227/2011 (Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency – REMIT).

All operational and maintenance activities are carried out with the necessary precautions and protection measures against COVID-19. Health and safety of Nord Stream’s employees and our contractors are of utmost importance to us.
