Castoro Sei: Testing the Weld
In the firing line of the Castoro Sei (C6), double joints are welded to the end of the pipeline using a semi-automatic system. Afterwards, every millimetre of each weld area is thoroughly examined by automated ultrasonic testing (AUT).
