Nord Stream Congratulates the Baltic Sea Youth Philharmonic on Winning the European Cultural Award 2015
Dec. 10, 2014 | Zug | Nord Stream AG congratulates the Baltic Sea Youth Philharmonic (BYP) and Kristjan Järvi, the orchestra’s founding conductor and music director, on winning the European Cultural Award 2015. Since 2013, the award is presented by the European Foundation for Culture Pro Europe in recognition of achievements that promote the dialogue between the European states and regions. The prize will be awarded on 2 October 2015 at Dresden’s Frauenkirche. The Baltic Sea Youth Philharmonic will provide the musical entertainment for the ceremony.
The BYP was founded by Nord Stream AG and Usedom Music Festival in 2008. The orchestra consists of highly talented young musicians from around the entire Baltic Sea Region.
