Nord Stream Wins Platts Global Energy Award for Midstream Industry Leadership
Dec. 12, 2014 | New York/Zug | Nord Stream AG was honoured with the 2014 Platts Global Energy Award in the Midstream Industry Leadership category last night. The Platts Energy Awards recognise companies in the energy industry that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation and operational excellence. Additionally, Nord Stream received an Award of Excellence at the Global Energy Outlook Forum, which was held on the same day.
The Platts Global Energy Award recognized Nord Stream for its strategic vision and its success in mastering political, technical and financial challenges throughout the realization of the key infrastructure project, which was completed within the budget and on time. The award is also a validation of the company’s commitment to safety and the environment and the benchmark its technical expertise has set.
Communications Director Ulrich Lissek and Project Director Ruurd Hoekstra accepted both awards on behalf of Nord Stream at the awards gala in New York.
